Escape the heat as we head to the coast for an ocean getaway. Join us as we ride some of California's most beautiful central coast roads. Enjoy the scenic views of the coastline as you ride north and then get your climb on as we take you inland for a challenging climb into the hills. The return route will reward your effort with a fast southern return. Kickback, relax, and enjoy the post ride meal and refreshments.

The Venue

We are excited to be partnered with There Does Not Exist Brewery in San Luis for our event. They are coming out early to open up their restrooms for access before the ride starts. After the ride you'll be able to relax and enjoy their delicious brews and a meal from a local food truck, Bear City Social!

The Route

The route will be a large 85mile road loop with 4,700 ft elevation gain.
The ride will start in San Luis Obispo and head west to the coast, it will then loop up into the hills for some big climbs and then a fast return back down the coast.
We won't lie, the climb is a beast on this route but offers a rewarding descent back down into Cambria! Make sure you bring your climbing legs.

Included with your registration comes the following during the ride.

Planned out GPS route which has been scouted out ahead of time. (You will receive the GPS route the week prior to the ride to upload to your navigational units)
SAG Support.
SAG Rest Stop
Mechanical support.
SAG Vehicle, we will have 3 support vehicles that will provide the following services.
Extra hydration/nutrition
First Aid
The ability to pickup any riders who may be tired or need a ride (can even shuttle you to the top of the hill).
We will have a bin with zip lock bags so you can shed layers (or bring extra) and keep in the vehicle.
